Bodhisattva

You want to know
how could anybody try so hard?
you cannot go
until the liberated cross assured
It's inhumane to watch them suffer
and all the rage to help another
we're building lives in chasing better numbers
and so remain the Bodhisattva
You have to share
the radiance is burning at the core
transcendent stare
immovable but can you be so sure?
It's inhumane to love another
and all the rage to live and suffer
we're building lives and chasing better numbers
and so remain the Bodhisattva

27 Times

Oh you should never have to worry,
oh you should never need a thing.
And If you ever have to worry,
I know exactly what to bring.
Cause I read it on your mind for the 27th time
I swore I told the truth but you made it all a lie
and now we've come to find that we've both stepped out of line
and we've taken it too far for the 27th time
Oh it's not like you to worry
oh it's never welcoming
I don't mind telling you I'm sorry
although it doesn't mean a thing.
Cause I read it on your mind for the 27th time
I swore I told the truth but you made it all a lie
and now we've come to find that we've both stepped out of line
and we've taken it too far for the 27th time
Is it a game? You make me wonder all the same.

Everybody Knows
03:36
|

it's so sad how we've come for reactions
walk in stride to the line to take aim and fire away
but no, the rifles don't have much to say
messy sheets and the sounds of satisfaction
pardon me, it's the scene of a disappointing play
but here the queen she changes everyday
who do you know
whose diction makes the noise you need to hear
and who can you see
to make those little demons want to leave?
everybody knows
I can't help but be austere
advocating the supposed
a book we burned in spite of fear
pornographic in our clothes
but remaining so sincere
now we're giving up the ghost
since everybody knows.
well you say you're in charge of your actions
but since when did the plan leave us with a bitter taste
and now our hangover won't go away
who do you know
whose diction makes the noise you need to hear
and who can you see
to make the sight of failure want to leave?
it's my place to be your voice of reason
and it's not fair, committing treason when it's all too easy
it's half my fault, mistakes don't bear repeating
